Meet Our Team
Joe Nettesheim joined Family Promise as Executive Director on November 8, 2019. He brings a commitment to serving those in need and advocating for families who are experiencing homelessness. Previously he was the Executive Director of the Adult Literacy Center of Ozaukee County and Inspirio Youth Ministries, Inc. Joe and his wife Maribeth have a blended family of five kids, eight grandkids and an overly friendly Goldendoodle named T.S. Eliot.
Christina Perkins came to Family Promise as Case Manager in May 2019. Prior to this position, she served as a social worker in Child Protective Services. She came to Family Promise looking for a position that would have more direct hands-on involvement with families and their children. Family Promise has given provided her that opportunity! Christina is grateul that we are here to assist families, to get back on their feet and move past the difficult times.
Kathleen Collins joins the Family Promise team with a passion for supporting and empowering families on their paths to independence and stability. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2017, Kathleen continues to pursue a higher education and will graduate with her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2022. Having experience working in the community as both a case manager and as a behavioral therapist, Kathleen strives to help families meet their basic needs while acknowledging underlying barriers. In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family, painting, training and teaching gymnastics, and caring for her two cats, Frank and Stein.
Jenna Spangler graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership in December 2020. She has previously worked as a HR professional and customer service representative. She then decided to find work in the nonprofit sector in hopes of making a career out of giving back to the community. In her free time, Jenna enjoys volunteering with local animal rescues and spending time with her family, including her husband and their two rescue dogs.
Rebecca Hinchey has previously worked in the accounting aspect of the construction industry. She joined Family Promise to help care for local families in her community. Rebecca enjoys kayaking, reading, and fostering animals.
Weekend Day Center Manager
Katie Eigner a Milwaukee native with a bachelor’s degree in English, Katie has been a Day Center Manager at Family Promise of Waukesha County since 2016. As a Day Center Manager, she has the opportunity to have one on one interaction with our guests on the weekends. Her role is to facilitate communication between guests, volunteers, the case manager and the Executive Director. Katie loves seeing firsthand Family Promise changes the lives of our guests for the better. She enjoys hiking and salsa dancing.
