Who We Are
Family Promise of Waukesha County is a non-profit organization that assists local homeless families and their children. Families are provided with overnight shelter, meals, and support services with the goal of achieving permanent housing and sustainable independence.
Our local host and support congregations provide families with meals and overnight shelter. Our Day Center provides one-on-one case management to create individual plans towards self-sufficiency, and connect them with existing community services to find job training, employment, daycare and affordable housing. *Families generally work through the program in 45-60 days.
Our Program Values:
~We believe in the dignity of all persons and that they should be treated with equality, respect and compassion.
~We believe in the potential for change and growth and that families with support and guidance, can determine their needs and future.
~We strive to be wise and effective stewards of all of our resources (finances, time, people, property).
~We believe in a holistic, creative and responsible approach as we collaborate with others to meet the needs of each family.
Family Promise of Waukesha County is an affiliate of the national organization Family Promise. We serve families with children without regard to race, religion, gender, or age.
